Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering
Give today for a brighter tomorrow.

When you give to the Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering (HMRCOE), you strengthen the value of a Rowan University engineering degree.

The Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering has challenged each department to fundraise for a special initiative, scholarship or program enhancement to enrich the educational experience for current and future students.

Help your favorite department by making a gift and moving it to the top of the Engineering Leaderboard!

  • The Biomedical Engineering department aims to strengthen the BME student experience. Your gift will support a variety of special "extras" for students, including enhanced graduation celebrations, covering travel costs to the annual BMES meeting, coffee breaks, student awards and undergraduate research thesis awards.
  • The Chemical Engineering department is honoring Marvin Harris, their founding process technician who worked in the CE department for 19 years. Your gift will go to the Marvin Harris Safety Award, which is given each year to the best undergraduate chemical engineering student(s) who display exceptional laboratory safety practices and leadership during their engineering clinic research.
  • The Civil & Environmental Engineering department wants their labs to come alive with real-time data! A gift to CEE will support the integration of state-of-the-art sensors providing real-time data enveloping all core areas of civil engineering structural, environmental (energy use, water and air quality) and much more. Living labs are interactive, providing a dynamic teaching and research environment.
  • The Electrical & Computer Engineering department wants to create "The ECE Design and Innovation Center," a one-of-a-kind space inspiring and motivating ECE students in their design and innovation work. Your gift will help outfit this collaborative space with the latest equipment and workstations while also creating a space for seminars, design reviews and community meetings.
  • The College of Engineering ExEED program supports the growth of global engineers. Your gift ensures student affordability for the Engineering in a Global Context program, which provides Rowan Engineering students with transformative, faculty-led study abroad experiences. These experiences are academically challenging, culturally transformative and professionally relevant. Your gift will shape the future of engineering education and will make these global opportunities financially accessible to all students.
  • The Mechanical Engineering department wants to expand its robotics education and research capabilities, enabling students with hands-on building and testing on an advanced robotic system. Your gift will help secure a robot with a high-sensitivity end-effector with 6-DOF force/torque sensing abilities, such as the ATI mini 45 force/torque sensor.

Give today for a brighter tomorrow!
