The School of Earth & Environment offers multiple pathways to degrees in growing fields where students can become part of the solution to the world's most pressing problems. The School is focused on the issues of the climate and biodiversity crises and the challenges of urbanization, often in interconnecting ways.

• The Environmental Science department supports students with outdoor hands-on field experiences and summer student/faculty research opportunities. Your gift will support students in these endeavors.
• The Geography, Planning, & Sustainability department takes planners outside to visit the urban sprawl sites they experience through GIS mapping, participates in community garden projects for interdisciplinary social sustainability connections, and uses innovative technology for the latest in GIS mapping techniques. Your gift will help these students be at the forefront of their industry.
• The Geology department assists students with travel to conferences, takes students on student/faculty research opportunities around the globe, and uses high technology to understand how our past climate can be used to predict our future. Your gift will ensure these students will be at the cutting edge in their field.
• The STEAM Academy is a two-week summer camp for middle and high school students that is part intensive coursework and part leadership training. Students in the high school track can also earn college credit during the program in the subject area of their choice while staying on Rowan University's campus for a full "college experience". A gift to STEAM Academy will support tuition for underrepresented students.
