When you give to the College of Education (CED), you strengthen the value of a Rowan University education degree.
The College of Education is a leading force in preparing and supporting reflective practitioners who use education to transform our global society. A gift to the CED supports an advanced curriculum, scholarships, hands-on student-teaching experiences, faculty research, and more – ensuring the remarkable success of our future educators as they set out to leave a lasting impact on students from pre-school through K-12, college, and beyond.
Please consider making a gift to one of our featured funds:
- The Ph.D. in Education is celebrating its 10th anniversary and offers concentrations in higher and postsecondary education, counselor education, literacy education, special education, and urban and diverse learning environments. Students are tasked with responding to the world's most persistent educational challenges, those that obstruct access, success and equity in traditionally underserved communities.
- The RIZE Scholars Program—Recruiting and Inspiring Zealous Educators—is designed to strengthen and support education majors at every stage of their journey. Through academic guidance, mentorship, and a strong sense of community, RIZE equips future teachers with the skills, confidence, and support network needed to make a lasting impact from preschool through 12th grade.
- Students completing English as a Second Language (ESL) and Bilingual Education (BE) Program CUGS must pass and pay for 2 and 4 extra exams, respectively. Your support for this fund will ensure students don't face additional barriers in trying to earn their final certificate.
