Student Life & Wellness
Forge a brighter future.

When you give to support student life and wellness initiatives at Rowan University, you strengthen the value of the Rowan student experience.

The Division of Student Life serves as a high-quality, outcome-based, primary change agent in the lives of all students, offering opportunities from student government and recreation activities to experiential volunteer opportunities. Rowan encourages healthy life choices, multicultural competency, personal and professional growth, campus and community involvement, civic responsibility and leadership development to help students prepare for life after Rowan.

  • Academic Support Programs ensure student success by offering tutoring, success coaching and the academic improvement program.
  • The Autism PATH Program supports neurodivergent students and alumni in the transition to meaningful employment post-graduation.
  • Rowan's Circle K International provides service and leadership opportunities.
  • Flying First supports Rowan's first-gen community, which is almost one-third of our undergraduate student population.
  • The Dr. Harley E. Flack Student Mentoring Program at Rowan University successfully supports undergraduate participants in achieving their goals and full potential through personalized mentorship, academic support, professional guidance, co-curricular activities, and leadership initiatives. The Program aims to provide unique learning opportunities that enhance personal and academic development through real-world exposure, cultural immersion, and experiential learning.

An essential part of the student experience also includes the support of mental health and physical well-being.

  • The Center for Well-Being is a comprehensive and inclusive campus resource center that supports and promotes the holistic development of all students, staff, and faculty, incorporating the six dimensions of Rowan Thrive, focused on physical, social, purpose, community, emotional, and financial well-being.
  • The Rowan University Wellness Center is a fully integrated health and wellness facility that provides comprehensive health/wellness care, education, and programming to students, including Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and the Shreiber Family Pet Therapy Program.
  • In collaboration with the Wellness Center and Rowan-Virtua SOM, Students Organized to Affirm Recovery (SOAR) provides resources for students struggling with substance abuse and expands education campus-wide by hosting special programs and events.

A gift to student life and wellness supports resources that provide a comprehensive, healthy environment for students to flourish and thrive while pursuing their degrees.
