CMSRU’s Service Learning and Outreach Programs provide direct services and programming across Camden and South Jersey. Over 23 student-run programs offer support to our neighbors of all ages. CMSRU students volunteer to provide student mentoring to grade school and high school students, outreach and care to individuals experiencing homelessness, medical care in the Cooper Rowan Clinic and care coordination following patient visits, as well as youth activity and wellness programming.
Scholarship support for our students is vital. Scholarships help to ensure that our medical students can focus on their education and training with a smaller financial burden and have the ability to volunteer in our neighboring communities, leading our students to become more confident and compassionate caregivers.
