What is Rowan University Day of Giving?
Rowan University Day of Giving is a 24-hour online fundraising event celebrating the entire Rowan community. Formerly known as RowanGIVES Day, Rowan’s Day of Giving is an opportunity for alumni, students, employees, family and friends to come together to show their support for their favorite college, school, department, team, activity – you name it!
On this special day, your gift could go even further if you meet a match or challenge, increasing your impact more than any other time of year! Your gift, no matter the size, will contribute to the success of the program, school, team or group of your choice. (Thank you!)
Who can participate in Rowan University's Day of Giving?
Anyone may give! Gifts through the Rowan University Day of Giving online site to Rowan University are tax-deductible and cannot be refunded. Contributions may be made via credit and debit cards only. Donations will be received and receipted through RNL ScaleFunder.
When is Rowan University Day of Giving?
Rowan University Day of Giving is on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, from midnight to 11:59 PM EST.
Who will receive my contact information?
Rowan University will have access to your name and email address for receipting, to send thank you messages, provide the option to receive future notifications, and notify you of future activities.
What is RNL ScaleFunder?
RNL ScaleFunder is a fundraising platform that helps institutions like Rowan University raise money, engage donors and manage volunteers for online events celebrating the power of philanthropy.
Is there a minimum gift amount?
Yes. To participate in Rowan University’s Day of Giving, the gift minimum is $5.00.
How do I give to more than one area?
On the donation form, there is an option to click “+Add another gift to your donation” underneath the giving amounts listed on the form. Once clicked, you will choose your next area in the dropdown menu and add the amount you’d like to give to the new fund.
Where's my fund?
If you usually give to a specific fund, area, scholarship, or program and can't find it, choose the Department or Program associated with your fund. Then, in the “Fund Designation” menu choose the “Other” option. You will then be prompted to type in the name of your fund, area, scholarship or program.
Can I make a gift via Venmo or PayPal?
On-campus students and employees may give using Venmo or PayPal.
That said, we strongly encourage you to make your gift online through dayofgiving.rowan.edu. This is the only way to assure that your gift will qualify for matches and challenges taking place throughout the day’s event.
Giving through Venmo and PayPal requires extra work from our team, and your gift may miss out on doubling its impact! If you have questions, please email dayofgiving@rowan.edu.
Can I make a recurring gift for Rowan University Day of Giving?
You cannot make a recurring gift for your Day of Giving gift. If you'd like more information about recurring gifts, please email dayofgiving@rowan.edu.

Yes! Simply visit dayofgiving.rowan.edu on your mobile device.
