When you give to Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU), you strengthen the value of a Rowan medical degree.
Every gift – no matter the size – has the power to make a difference.
In celebration of CMSRU’s Tenth Anniversary and our 525 alumni, every gift to CMSRU's Dean's Fund will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $1,000 thanks to Dr. Anthony J. Fugaro and Mrs. Delia Settani Fugaro ’62, which supports many areas including these programs:
CMSRU’s Service Learning and Outreach Programs provide an array of direct services and programming to children and adults across the City of Camden. Over 20 student-run programs offer support for city residents in the areas of student mentoring, health and social outreach, community engagement, and youth activity and wellness.
Funds raised will go directly to programs such as CMSRU Street Medicine, providing outreach and care to individuals experiencing homelessness in Camden; Sidekicks, which pairs medical students with pediatric patients who have life-threatening and chronic health conditions; Haven, which provides a safe, supportive, and positive environment for LGBTQ+ youth; and the CMSRU High School Health Sciences Library Internship (in memory of Karen Stesis) that supports a summer internship for Camden high school students.
Scholarship support for our students is vital. Scholarships help to ensure medical students can pursue their education with a smaller financial burden so that they can focus on their education and training on the path to becoming confident and compassionate caregivers.
Over 25 named scholarships awarded this year are making a positive difference and your support can help enhance their reach in the future, including the Herblan Endowed Scholarship, Lawrence Miller, M.D. Endowed Scholarship, Dr. Susan Perlis Fund, CMSRU Scholarship Fund and more.
